The revised schedule for the SHCS Show on Sunday 18th April is now completed and is with the printer.
THE SHOW IS OPEN TO ALL TO ENTER.
PLEASE NOTE:
Exhibitors who sent entries for the January show will receive a hard copy of the revised schedule along with a credit note for the show fees paid with their previous entry.
If you are still waiting for your schedules please bear with us. The show manager hasn't received them yet and will send them out as soon as they arrive. We would be very grateful for your patience in this matter. Thank you.
We hope that they will be able to enter again. They should treat the show as a completely new event and enter whatever cats they wish, whether they were entered last time or not.
The credit note should be used against any new entry.
They may :-
(a) enter more cats and send an additional cheque along with their credit note.
(b) make a smaller entry. Please still return the credit note with the entry and request a refund if required.
(c) be unable to enter again. Please return the credit note to the Show Manager and a refund (less a small admin charge) will be made.
If you are unable to attend the rescheduled Show on 18 April then any club subscriptions paid for 2010 will not be refunded".
Please note that all entries for this show should be sent to the Club Secretary, Doreen Goadby, Highridge, Parsonage Hill, SOMERTON TA11 7PF and not to the Show Manager.

Entry form for 18th April
As the numbers of breeders interested in Abyssinian, Burmese and
Siamese cats became large in number, Clubs were set up to cater individually for
these breeds, whilst the SHCS continued its pioneer work on the presentation of
new varieties to the Cat Fancy.
Recognition was gained for the Chestnut Brown Shorthair, the first 'Siamese
type' Shorthair with solid coat colour, which was later renamed the Havana and
later the Society gained recognition for the Foreign (now Oriental) Lilac
Shorthair. The Society at present also has responsibility for the Oriental
Black, Blue and Spotted Tabbies.
The Society has always catered for the Russian Blue breed in conjunction, at
times, with various specialist Clubs which have been formed from time to time.
Recognition for the Korat breed was gained in 1977
The Society is a member of the British Shorthair Group Committee, the Russian
B.A.C., the Korat B.A.C. and the Oriental J.B.A.C. through which Stewards and
Judges are trained and which oversees Breed Standards of Points in the G.C.C.F.
